THE ROLE

As part of our growth strategy, New Century Education are seeking to recruit exceptional Directors of Cycle 1 & 2 to join our Al Ain and Abu Dhabi schools in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

In this role, you will support our Director of Schools in the development and delivery of curriculum and assessment in all aspects of learning to enable New Century Education students to be successful throughout their school years and beyond. This will feature outstanding provision of a creative, innovative and engaging curriculum delivery that meets all regulatory requirements, producing outstanding results and targeted professional development to teachers and parents/guardians through demonstration lessons, face to face workshops, and instructional planning support.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

  • At least 8 years of teaching experience

  • Ideally a master’s degree in Education Leadership, or similar

  • Previous leadership experience

  • A high proficiency in English language is essential

  • Experience of working in a K-12 American curriculum school or international educational setting would be advantageous although not essential

  • Knowledge of international accreditation, inspection and evaluation frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written form

  • High level of data analysis skill and ability to make data-informed decisions

  • Management of human and physical resources

  • Strategic planning, knowledge of child protection and health and safety

  • Experience in developing and leading high performing teams

  • Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders

  • Collaborative team player, empathetic listener and strategic thinker

  • Flexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards

  • Adept in multilingual settings, spirited, pioneering, professional and nurturing.
